Hope Was Born

The years have changed
Our lives have too
Some friends are lost
Yet stories grew
At Christmas time we stand above
The walls we built
The hands unloved

The candle’s flame
It softly speaks
Of fragile days
Of hearts we seek

Hope was born on a silent night
Forgiveness shines in a gentle light
Who are we to close the door
When grace invites us to restore

Christmas heals
Christmas unites!

The table set
The voices blend
We find beginnings in each end
The past reminds
The future calls
Yet Christmas spirit binds us all

The star still glows
The truth is near
It whispers love from year to year

Hope was born on a silent night
Forgiveness shines in a gentle light
Who are we to close the door
When grace invites us to restore

Life is short
The moments flee
But Christmas shows what life can be
To open hearts,
to make things right
To turn the darkness into light

Christmas heals
Christmas unites!

Hope was born on a silent night
Forgiveness shines in a gentle light
The world may change,
The years may fly
But Christmas keeps its flame alive
